Take Action To Stop The Abuse

Do not escape from tackling the problem when you are abused. For many couples, the abusing person could hardly control themselves, so it would be better to step out from the relationship. However, if you are determined to stay, you better act to improve the situation.

Don’t be silent. You have to let the abuser know that abusing is not well-accepted by you. The abusers often do not admit they are wrong. Don’t think that you are a trouble-maker, you are just defending yourself from being hurt.

Don’t be weak. You should step out of the relationship if your spouse is a control freak. Don’t let him or her dominate your life. Tolerance should not be unlimited when abused.

Undoubtedly, you would have low confidence of yourself should you have made innumerable fatal mistakes in a relationship. Yet you have to convince yourself that it is completely acceptable and understandable. All human beings have their own weaknesses and defects and you just have to try to accept them. Nevertheless, it is also impossible that all the things we do are incorrect. Be confident. You can still worth others’ adoring and cherishing, even after you have made errors.

There is no point keeping your beloved one to hold the same points with you in every aspect. Time flies. We should enjoy our life instead of pinpointing on little differences with your partner. Provided that it does not bring any harm to your relationship, personal preference should not be altered because of love. We have to be respectful and be considerate in order to keep a genuine and stable relationship.

If you suspect an emotional abuse is happening on you. Let a friend or family member of yours know about it. Meanwhile, get new perspective from others to see if illusions are possible explanation.

Act promptly to stop the abuse! No one deserves to be controlled and not to be respected. If he or she abuses you, he or she is not a good companion. Don’t stay to be a victim. Don’t hesitate to step out from the relationship when there is no improvement.

Everyone must bear in mind that companions are meant to give us supports when our lives go side way, but not the other way round. Lingering in an unfruitful relationship is a waste of time. If you find your relationship a torture, leave it now and look for a loving one.
